Addressing the challenges of the Fifth Industrial Revolution, the 8th Hosting Summit 2026 was held in Nikunja, Dhaka, under the initiative of Alpha Net. The summit took place on Sunday, January 4, with participation from leading web hosting companies in Bangladesh, along with representatives from both public and private sectors.

Senior officials from nearly 30 top web hosting organizations attended the event, including representatives from Bangladesh Telecommunications Company Limited (BTCL), BASIS (Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services), e-CAB (e-Commerce Association of Bangladesh), and the Cyber Security Division of the Bangladesh Police.

The summit featured keynote remarks by Professor Dr. Mohammad Abdur Rahman, Head of the Cyber Security and Forensic Computing Department at the College of Computer and Cyber Sciences, Prince Mugrin University, Madinah, Saudi Arabia. The keynote session was delivered by US-based technology expert Abu Sufian Haider.

Speaking at the event, the Summit Convener emphasized the need for collective efforts to ensure the sustainable growth of Bangladesh’s hosting industry. He highlighted the importance of building modern infrastructure, increasing the adoption of artificial intelligence, and developing a skilled workforce. He also stressed that local hosting providers must be elevated to international standards to play a more effective role in the digital economy.

During the discussion, participants highlighted the following key focus areas for strengthening the country’s digital ecosystem:

• Unlocking the growth potential of Bangladesh’s web hosting industry
• Creating opportunities to enter international markets
• Strengthening cyber security preparedness
• Upgrading hosting and data center infrastructure
• Enhancing public and private sector collaboration

The 7th Annual Hosting Summit 2025 was held on February 19, 2025, at the five-star Dhaka Regency Hotel & Resort in the capital city, Dhaka. The summit was organized by the renowned hosting company Alpha Net.

The event was graced by the presence of U.S.-based technologist and technology entrepreneur Mr. Abu Sufian Haider. Officials from over 30 leading hosting companies, including SISPAB, BDIX, and IBCS, also attended. The primary objective of this summit was to discuss the overall development of the web hosting industry and assess Bangladesh's progress in this sector.

The convenor of the hosting summit was: - Akramul Haider, CEO Alpha Net. 

Attendees engaged in discussions regarding the current state, future prospects, and challenges of hosting companies. They reached a consensus on working collaboratively to resolve existing issues in the web hosting industry and ensure mutual cooperation and strong relationships among companies for overall industry growth.

The event concluded with a luncheon following the discussion session.

Hosting Summit 2024 was held on March 9, 2024, and was organized as the sixth 'Hosting Industry Summit' at the prestigious Hotel 71 in the capital Dhaka. This hosting summit was organized by the country's renowned hosting company Alpha Net. Officials of more than 35 top hosting companies were present at the event. The main objective of this event was to determine the overall development of the hosting industry and the progress of Bangladesh in this field.

The event was attended as the chief guest by:- Honorable President of BASIS, Mr. Russell T Ahmed. Present as special guest:- Mr. Abu Daud Khan, Vice President BASIS. Mr. Ariful Hossain Tuhin, Assistant Commissioner of Police (Cyber Crime Investigation Department). Mr. Sanjib Kumar Ghatak, Deputy Managing Director, BTCL. Abu Sufian Haider, Entrepreneur and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Sineris Web Services.

The 'Hosting Industry Summit-2022' has been held for the overall development of the country's hosting industry. The summit was held on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at "Hotel 71" in the capital. The summit was held with the aim of overall development of the hosting industry of Bangladesh by increasing mutual good relations and understanding between the hosting companies of the country. The main objective of the summit was to establish cooperation and good relations between each company. More than 25 top hosting companies in Bangladesh participated in the event.

Abu Sufian Haider, founder of Alpha Net and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Sineris Web Services, was present as a special guest at the event. The program was conducted by Alpha Net Chief Executive Officer Akramul Haider. This was the 5th Hosting Summit. This time the summit was organized under the initiative of Alpha Net, one of the hosting companies in Bangladesh. 

At the summit, the policymakers of different hosting companies talked about the various problems and possible solutions of the hosting industry in Bangladesh, and finally, they all agreed to work together to solve the current problems of the hosting industry in the country and to work together for the overall development. This year's Hosting Summit concluded with a sumptuous lunch after the panel discussion.

This was the fourth Hosting Industry Summit. This year it was organized by one of Bangladesh's hosting companies, Alpha Net, Eicra Soft Limited, Zion BD, Dhaka Web Host Limite,d, and Web Host BD.

At the summit, the present members discussed in detail the overall situation of hosting in Bangladesh, various problems, and possible solutions.

BASIS President Almas Kabir gave a valuable speech as the chief guest on solving the problems. He promised BASIS's all-out support in the overall development of the hosting industry.

The summit was held in a hotel in the capital on Wednesday. The main objective of this summit is the overall development of the hosting industry in Bangladesh by enhancing mutual relations and understanding between the top hosting companies in the country. More than 30 top companies in Bangladesh participated in this event.

On August 19, 2017, Alpha Net organized and hosted a Hosting Industry Summit. The event was the first of its kind in Bangladesh. The goal was to bring the leaders of the Hosting Industry together. It was held at a luxury Hotel in Dhaka. Several leading Hosting Companies in Bangladesh were present at this Summit, including XeonBD, StarHost BD, Colocity Ltd., and many members of the Bangladesh Domain Hosting Provider Association (BDHPA).

Alpha Net's Founder, Abu Sufian Haider was visiting from the USA to attend the Hosting Industry Summit.
