Hosting Summit Bangladesh - Building a Stronger Hosting Industry

The 7th Annual Hosting Summit 2025 was held on February 19, 2025, at the five-star Dhaka Regency Hotel & Resort in the capital city, Dhaka. The summit was organized by the renowned hosting company Alpha Net.

The event was graced by the presence of U.S.-based technologist and technology entrepreneur Mr. Abu Sufian Haider. Officials from over 30 leading hosting companies, including SISPAB, BDIX, and IBCS, also attended. The primary objective of this summit was to discuss the overall development of the web hosting industry and assess Bangladesh's progress in this sector.

The convenor of the hosting summit was: - Akramul Haider, CEO Alpha Net. 

Attendees engaged in discussions regarding the current state, future prospects, and challenges of hosting companies. They reached a consensus on working collaboratively to resolve existing issues in the web hosting industry and ensure mutual cooperation and strong relationships among companies for overall industry growth.

The event concluded with a luncheon following the discussion session.

Hosting Summit 2024 was held on March 9, 2024, and was organized as the sixth 'Hosting Industry Summit' at the prestigious Hotel 71 in the capital Dhaka. This hosting summit was organized by the country's renowned hosting company Alpha Net. Officials of more than 35 top hosting companies were present at the event. The main objective of this event was to determine the overall development of the hosting industry and the progress of Bangladesh in this field.

The event was attended as the chief guest by:- Honorable President of BASIS, Mr. Russell T Ahmed. Present as special guest:- Mr. Abu Daud Khan, Vice President BASIS. Mr. Ariful Hossain Tuhin, Assistant Commissioner of Police (Cyber Crime Investigation Department). Mr. Sanjib Kumar Ghatak, Deputy Managing Director, BTCL. Abu Sufian Haider, Entrepreneur and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Sineris Web Services.

The 'Hosting Industry Summit-2022' has been held for the overall development of the country's hosting industry. The summit was held on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at "Hotel 71" in the capital. The summit was held with the aim of overall development of the hosting industry of Bangladesh by increasing mutual good relations and understanding between the hosting companies of the country. The main objective of the summit was to establish cooperation and good relations between each company. More than 25 top hosting companies in Bangladesh participated in the event.

Abu Sufian Haider, founder of Alpha Net and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Sineris Web Services, was present as a special guest at the event. The program was conducted by Alpha Net Chief Executive Officer Akramul Haider. This was the 5th Hosting Summit. This time the summit was organized under the initiative of Alpha Net, one of the hosting companies in Bangladesh. 

At the summit, the policymakers of different hosting companies talked about the various problems and possible solutions of the hosting industry in Bangladesh, and finally, they all agreed to work together to solve the current problems of the hosting industry in the country and to work together for the overall development. This year's Hosting Summit concluded with a sumptuous lunch after the panel discussion.
